Singer / guitarist John Engelbert and drummer Oskar »Ossi« Bonde formed Johnossi in their native Stockholm in 2004. After only three shows they landed their first record deal and with the release of their self titled debut album including the huge single »Man Must Dance« they instantly became an influential contemporary act in Sweden, winning a Swedish Grammy Award, several National Radio P3 Gold Awards and a big fanbase with their explosive live shows.
