Art and Culture in the Age of AI: Are Stronger Nordic-German Cooperations Needed?

A Panel Discussion on Shared Pathways towards Responsible Innovation in the Cultural Sector

20. Nov 2025, 18:00

Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming the ways in which art and culture are created, curated, and experienced. While these technologies open up new artistic possibilities, they also raise profound ethical, legal, and social questions: How will AI redefine authorship and originality? How is AI already changing the working conditions for artists? How can we ensure that innovation in the cultural field remains responsible, transparent, and inclusive? And what responsibilities do we share as artists, institutions and policymakers in navigating these growing challenges?

This panel brings together experts and artists from the Nordics and Germany to explore the opportunities and risks of AI in the arts. Together, we will discuss how cross-border collaboration, especially on EU and Nordic level, can help develop both technological and cultural policy solutions that balance innovation, ethics, and creative freedom.

Join us for an open and forward-looking discussion.
