Breakables & Muudu

Im Schokoladen

19. Mrz 2026, 19:00

Breakables is a Finnish Berlin-based duo making music that lives between intimacy and momentum. Their debut album »RPM« (Managua Records) moves effortlessly between ambient textures, minimal club rhythms, and experimental electronic jazz, creating soundscapes that feel both precise and alive.

Working with live instruments, old vinyl samples and electronic processing, Breakables builds music that’s meant to be experienced as a whole. Each track invites careful listening, revealing subtle shifts in texture and emotion, whether through headphones in private or in a live setting where every nuance comes alive.

The duo draws inspiration from the quiet expanses of Nordic landscapes and the pulse of Berlin’s club scene, blending them into a sound that is both spacious and grounded, meticulous yet human. Their approach balances composition with improvisation, structure with spontaneity, creating music that is thoughtful butnever rigid. »We wanted the music to feel like it’s always moving, never rushing, but never standing still either.«

Muudu (Martin Kuut / Moodmusic) is an Estonian-born, Berlin-based producer, live act, and DJ whose sound bridges house, ambient, indie electronica, breakbeat, and Nordic prog-rock textures. Known for weaving odd time signatures into grooves that feel natural and hypnotic, his music balances contrast with cohesion and atmosphere with rhythm.

At the core of his journey is the idea of Muudupeople – the friends, collaborators, andinspirations who shape his sound. Without Muudupeople, there is no Muudu.
