»Under« mit Hildur Guðnadóttir

»Under« is a cinematic and musical journey centred around Oscar-winning Icelandic composer Hildur Guðnadóttir. Set inside Under, Snøhetta’s extraordinary submerged structure on Norway’s southern coast, the film places her music in dialogue with architecture, landscape and nature.

Joined by musicians from the Norwegian National Opera Orchestra, Guðnadóttir explores how a musical work can be transformed by the space in which it is performed, with sound and setting responding to one another.

More than a traditional concert film or portrait, »Under« creates an immersive world around Guðnadóttir’s singular musical voice, bringing together performance, light and the elemental beauty of Norway’s coast in a striking encounter between music and place.
